Manchester Art Gallery hosted our first 2013 screening on March 14th as part of Modernist Dreams & Utopias, curated by the Manchester Modernist Society

The Royal Institute of British Architects hosted a screening on March 27th as part of their HOME season

Filmmuseum München in Munich, Germany screened the film on February 4th as part of the touring Utopia of Modernity show

In May, Project Zipp invited us back to Zlin (Czech Republic) to take part in their conference Utopia of Modernity: Zlín. Nina travelled out with Mike and Joan who were both passengers on the Bata-ville bus and saw the film in the vast original Bata cinema, which features in the film!

In February Bata-ville was shown every day at Leeds City Art Gallery as part of our show for The Northern Art Prize - which we won! There was also an installation made in collaboration with the Bata Reminiscence & Resource Centre at the gallery

At 'home' in Cumbria the film showed as part of Docs at the Docks at the Canteen in Barrow in Furness on 27th November - Karen joined with some of the film's Maryport stars for the re-union

Screened at London's East End Film Festival at the Rio Cinema in London on 22nd April

The interesting home-grown Star and Shadow cinema in Newcastle showed Bata-ville on 21st February

Our New York City premiere was with Rooftop Films on 14th September

A Prague Film Showcase - Bata-ville opened this British Council film event in Prague with a screening on 25th September at Kino Svetozor

26th Cambridge Film Festival screened us on 15th July

The London Architecture Biennale 2006 - screened at Allies and Morrison on 19th June

Our Czech premiere was at the 46th Zlín Film Festival Zlín, Czech Republic 28th May - 3rd June. You can read more about the trip on the Somewhere Blog

Bata-ville's US premiere was at the South by Southwest Festival, Austin, Texas - first screening on 14 March 2006. You can read more about SXSW on the Somewhere Blog

Oxen Park Cinema Club John Ruskin School, Cumbria on 13th April

Thameside Theatre, Grays, Thurrock Essex on 10th April - a charity screening presented by Thurrock Heritage Forum in support of Bata Reminiscence & Resource Centre
