The third edition of PILOT: will be previewed during the opening week of the Venice Biennale, in the stunning cloisters of the Monastery of St Damien and St Cosimo, La Giudecca, by invitation of Fondazione Bevilaqua la Masa, Venice.

Eighty six of the world’s finest established and emerging curators have each nominated an artist who will take part in PILOT:3. The only criteria we ask the nominators to adhere to are that they love the work of the artist that they choose, and that the artist does not have representation by a commercial gallery at the time of nomination.

PILOT: will present the physical archive of artists’ files from PILOT:1, PILOT:2, and PILOT:3, and an edited electronic version of the archive is also available online at www.pilotlondon.org

PILOT:3 will see the presentation of a new publication that will showcase the work of new nominated artists. This book is a 400 page, full colour illustrated catalogue presenting the 86 artists’ practices plus new writing on each artist by their nominator. This can be purchased online via www.pilotlondon.org, and at the PILOT:3 events in Venice and later this year in London in October during the weekend of the Frieze Art Fair.

If you're over there, let us know how it looked!
