The Management Consultant's Tale

For his pilgrimage, Roy Snelling travelled to Rennes-Le-Chateau, where "several schools of thought say Jesus is dead and buried".

As a Christian, he intended to fundamentally challenge his beliefs and research the widely-documented geophysical indicators at the site which supposedly support these theories.

Roy spoke to a number of villagers on arrival, all of whom largely dismissed the stories which had sprung from a mysteriously wealthy 19th priest and local benefactor whose story Roy tells.

Roy's was our farthest-flung pilgrimage, and apart from an hysterical phonecall on pilgrimage morning from Eurocar, apparently refusing to hire him car, it went remarkably smoothly and Roy made it back to the UK, to the evening's feast in good time.

Roy's Prologue explains the background to the mystery of Rennes-Le-Chateau, and his Tale is accompanied by images he provided of the priest, the supposed burial site and of paintings which reference the theory.
