The Scholar's Tale - Phillippa Venn-Brown has recently finished a Master of Arts degree in Medieval Studies and her pilgrimage was to visit tombs in Canterbury Cathedral that relate to her research. She had never made this journey before, despite being incredibly well travelled.
She is both a Chaucer Scholar, a medieval enthusiast & member of a medieval reenactment
society. Phillippa was a constant source of lively advice for us and gave us fantastic instructions for organising the Pilgrim's Feast that concluded the day in Borough Market.
