Nina records and tapes in post. Tapes are set at right bits.

New stuff
1st up to be played over film of me walking down lea bridge road

Johnny Clyde Copeland (dead sadly) 'Just before the sun goes down'
Bossa Nova . Just before the sun goes down is the beat time to fish, Johnny
however gets a bit sad.

2nd Over film of water
Overton Vertis Wright (dead sadly) 'Mirror of my Soul' bit sad and slow,
emotionally enhanced by the muffled delivery, which was due to O V's bad
teeth and nasal passages incured through years of drug abuse, this was his
last recording.

3rd End record
Little Milton I'm at the 'End of my Rainbow' no pot of gold

There is also this one which is quite good for pilgrims, its gospel and all
about journeys, and quite shouty.
Clarence Fountain (dead sadly) 'I need help' Clarence was the leader of
the Five Blind Boys of Alabama. Just the end bit about crossing rivers and
mountains

dear Nina

Charlie is sending (by e mail) you an image of the family loch, which is
called 'robins dam' by the way on account of its having been damed by a
robin.

I have not had any success in contacting any snorkel men to find my obscure
playlist although I have found some rather fine websites including one
which shows a soul collectors record room (six shots from different angles)
plus some references to cold fish extaordinare, deep soul fanatic Steve
Davies (snooker boy)

I am drawing some maps of how to get to Loch Struban and Walthamstow
resevoir which might be good for the website or the vitrine.

The search continues, keep the faith (that is an old northern soul thing
you say when only one person turns up for your obscure soul night disco in
the basement of a pub under the flyover in Romford)

Rufus Harley has a website with an audio thing on it, version of 'amazing
grace' might be good if I could get it. Als eight miles high might combine
a suitable number of incongruities.

Nina

If its Walthamstow at dawn, I think we would need a different music. I
suggest Rufus the 60's black jazz bagpiper.

If this fails I think it should just be a bit of highland music, or some
tragic Gaelic ballad. Not music I really have in stock, karen or you are
more likley to have.

Assuming I can find them I want to play:

The Nightingales (featuring Tommy Tate) 'I don't want to be like my Daddy'
Stax 1971

Johnny Sayles 'Something on my Mind' Mar-v-lus 1963

King Hannibal 'Fishing Pole' Decca

Johnny Robinson 'Don't Take it so hard' Epic

I assume we are only playing a bit of each
