New Season, New Garden Club Leader

A massively warm welcome to the newly appointed Garden Club Leader at Abbey Gardens - Hamish Liddle. The post was hotly contested and we're really delighted to have such an experienced person to guide the Friends of Abbey Gardens through the new season. This year the Garden Club Leader is being employed by the Friends group rather than Somewhere, this is part of the move towards trying to make the site sustainable in the long term and run independently by FOAG. Karen and I will still be helping out this year but our 'official role' will gradually decrease.

Hamish will be starting THIS WEEK! as we resume the weekly garden club sessions:

Saturdays 10am - 3pm
Tuesdays 1pm - 3pm
Thursdays 4pm - dusk

Why not go along and see the garden at the start of the season and say hello to Hamish, he will also be at the wildflower event on site this coming Saturday the 20th of March.
